Christine Louise Bleakley (born 2 February 1979) is a Northern Irish broadcaster, best known for her television work with the BBC and ITV. She has presented various shows with Adrian Chiles such as ''The One Show'' (2007–2010) and ''Daybreak'' (2010–2011) and more recently ''Dancing on Ice'' (2012–2014) and ''This Morning'' (2013–2015) with Phillip Schofield.〔〔(Daybreak Press Pack ) ITV, 31 August 2010〕 More recently, Bleakley has presented factual series for ITV including ''Off The Beaten Track'' (2013) and ''Wild Ireland'' (2015). ==Early life== Bleakley was born in Daisy Hill Hospital in Newry, Northern Ireland, to mother Mina and father Frederic, and grew up in Newtownards, County Down, Northern Ireland.〔(How old are you Christine Bleakley? Bleakley started her television career as a runner and then trained to become a floor manager while studying for her A-Levels at Bloomfield Collegiate School in Ballyhackamore, Belfast. She continued to work at BBC NI while studying for a politics degree at Queen's University, Belfast.
